Felicia Gordon joined Erkan & Sullivan, P.C. after building a trial-heavy career inside one of the busiest prosecution offices in the Commonwealth. She handles matters in both the district and superior courts, and she brings to every case a firsthand understanding of how the government builds, charges, and tries a case, because she spent the start of her career doing exactly that.
At Erkan & Sullivan, Felicia shares the firm’s singular focus: criminal defense, done well, for people facing the most consequential moments of their lives.
Felicia earned her law degree from Suffolk University Law School, where she received the Paul R. McLaughlin Fellowship and trained as an SJC Rule 3:03 student prosecutor in the Concord, Framingham, and Marlborough District Courts. She completed her undergraduate studies in political science at Boston University. The Massachusetts bar admitted her in 2023.
Before joining Erkan & Sullivan, Felicia served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office. She prosecuted in the Lowell District Court, one of the busiest courts in the Commonwealth and a courtroom where she now brings her extensive trial experience to the defense of the accused. She finished her tenure with the office as the Supervising Assistant District Attorney over the Ayer District Court, where she oversaw a team of attorneys, victim advocates, interns, and support staff. She tried cases constantly. As first chair, she handled dozens of jury and bench trials, presented investigations to the grand jury, and litigated motions on a near-daily basis. She also served as a domestic violence designee, work that demanded careful, direct engagement with witnesses and victims in some of the most sensitive cases the office handled.
That volume matters. Felicia learned the rhythms of the courtroom, the pressure points in an investigation, and the places where the Commonwealth’s case looks stronger on paper than it proves at trial. She now puts that knowledge to work for the accused, scrutinizing the government’s evidence, testing its witnesses, and holding the prosecution to its burden.
