“It’s hard to believe, but the nightmare I’ve been living for over a year is finally over. I am now free, and it is all because my lawyers Murat Erkan and Ryan Sullivan believed in me and never gave up fighting.
Over a year ago, a game of dominoes turned into a fight. The “”victim”” claims that I stabbed him and tried to kill him. My lawyer got me out on bail on charges of assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. Then while the case was open the “”victim”” told the police that I threatened him that if he went to court I would have him killed. I got new charges of witness intimidation.

Even though none of it was true, the court said I was too dangerous to be free. They used this man’s lies to keep me locked up, away from my wife and my son. But when it came time for the “”victim”” to prove his story, he no-showed.

Why? To anyone who watched this case in court, the answer was obvious: he knew what was coming. My lawyer Murat had questioned him before and was relentless. Rather than facing my lawyer’s questions again, he stopped answering the prosecutor’s calls and was nowhere to be found when the case was called for trial.

The judge dismissed all the charges. I was finally able to go home. My family was there, and we hugged in the hallway and cried tears of joy.

Attorney Murat never gave up on me. He took my case seriously, and he treated me with respect. He didn’t just defend me — he fought for my name, my freedom, and my future. He showed the court what kind of man I really am: a father, a husband, an honest worker who’s been in this country for over 20 years building a life.

I didn’t come to this country to end up in a jail cell. I came here to work hard, support my family, and build something. And thanks to Attorney Murat, I can keep doing that.
